i add image descriptions to my drawings in order to make them more accessible to those who might have trouble seeing, are blind, use screen readers, have trouble making sense of images, etc etc. 

typically you’d put image descriptions into an picture’s alt-text, but tumblr’s photo posts lacks that function as far as i know (but pictures added to text posts can be given alt-text since you can edit their html? i forget)

i’m sorry that my descriptions are rather dry and awkwardly put together! i do my best to make them as succinct as possible but unfortunately my writing skills are rather poor.

they don’t have a tongue but they have a good dozen or so nutrition collection tubes that they curl up in their mouth to look like a tongue.
